Newton Town Pool

The Newton Town Pool will be closed for the entirety of the 2019 summer season while we investigate the various issues that need to be addressed. 

During the closure, the Town will be providing a free shuttle service to the Hackettstown Community Pool to the residents of Sussex County.

  • The bus will depart from Memory Park at 11:30 am and arrive at the Hackettstown Pool at approximately 12:15 pm. For the return trip, the bus will leave Hackettstown Pool at 5:00 pm and return to Memory Park at approximately 5:45 pm.
  • Participants must register on the daily roster to reserve a seat on the bus. The maximum number of daily participants is fifty (50.)
  • The roster will be made available through the Signup Genius website no sooner than seven days in advance. The link will be posted on the Town website.
  • If you do not have access to the internet but would like to be added to the list, please call the Recreation Department at (973) 383-3521 ext. 228 between 8:30 am and 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday; 8:30 am and 1:00 pm on Friday.
  • Pool entrance fees, concession stand, food/beverage options, and activities will be the responsibility of each participant. They accept CASH ONLY.
  • Daily Weekday fees for adults (Ages 16 and Up) $10 per day; Children (Ages 4-15) $2 per day. 
  • Seasonal membership fee's at the Hackettstown Pool are - Family $200; Individual $100; Senior Citizen (Age 62 prior to 6/1/2019) $20.
  • Children under 3 years of age and under will be admitted free when accompanied by a paid parent.

  • Participants must be 16 years of age or older or be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian.
  • Participants wishing/needing to depart early must make their own travel arrangements and advise Jacquie Ferdenzi, who will be accompanying the group daily.
