    In accordance with the N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. & in consideration of EO #103, issued by Gov. Murphy on 3/9/20, declaring a State of Emergency and Public Health Emergency in the State of NJ, the Town of Newton hereby notifies the public to protect the health, safety & welfare of our citizens while ensuring the continued functioning of government, the meetings of the Newton Town Council scheduled for October 26, November 9, and November 23, 2020 at 7:00 pm at 39 Trinity Street, Newton, NJ will be held electronically only. Members of the public who wish to participate in the meeting may do so via the Zoom virtual meeting service. Members will be able to participate in the meeting, including providing public comment at the appropriate time, and are asked to mute to limit background noise while not speaking. The Town Council agenda and relevant documents, if any, can be viewed at www.newtontownhall.com/agend. Questions may be directed to the Town Clerk at 973-383-3521 x 221.
