In collaboration with the Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce (GNCC), this event includes a parade featuring veterans, military units, and local organizations. The ceremony at the end of the parade includes speeches, wreath-laying, and moments of silence to honor those who have served our country.

  • Newton Day - in collaboration with the GNCC
    Newton Day is a family-friendly festival celebrating the town's rich history and vibrant community. Highlights include live entertainment, a variety of food vendors, craft stalls, and activities for children. The GNCC partners with local businesses to showcase the best of Newton, making it a day filled with fun and community bonding.

  • 2 Outdoor Movies
    Enjoy two evenings of outdoor movie screenings under the stars. Bring your blankets and chairs to watch family-friendly films in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. These events are perfect for families and friends to gather and enjoy a night out.

  • 2 Outdoor Concerts
    Join us for two outdoor concerts featuring local bands and musicians. These concerts offer a great opportunity to enjoy live music in a beautiful outdoor setting. Bring your picnic and enjoy the summer evenings filled with music and good company.

  • Taste of Newton - in collaboration with the GNCC
    The Taste of Newton event is a culinary delight, showcasing the diverse flavors of local restaurants and eateries. In partnership with the GNCC, this event features tasting stations, cooking demonstrations, and opportunities to meet the chefs behind your favorite dishes. It's a must-attend for food enthusiasts.

  • Fall Festival and Car Show

  • Halloween Parade/Trunk or Treat

  • Flags of Honor  - coordinated by the Newton Recreation Department

  • Holiday Parade - in collaboration with the GNCC

  • House Decorating Contest

  • Tree Lighting
