Happy Administrative Professionals’ Day! Thank you for all you do to keep things running smoothly throughout our various departments…

Our next Town Council meeting is Monday, May 8th at 7:00pm.

Morris Lake is 3 ½ inches above spillway as of April 24th.

A reminder that we still need volunteers for Neighbors Helping Neighbors VII tomorrow from 8:30am to Noon. Refreshments and t-shirts provided! Non-union part-timers will receive payment for their time and non-union full-timers will receive compensatory time.

A reminder to complete your Financial Disclosure Forms! This is an annual requirement for certain staff and professionals and volunteers – fines can be levied by the State of NJ if you do not file same.

I enjoyed the first meeting of the Newton Community Schools Design Team working on a grant application for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

We met with the new owner of G&H today! Best wishes to RONETCO as they pursue development of this fine parcel of land on Route 206. We look forward to their success.

I met with leadership from the NFD to discuss plans for Firehouse #2 as well as the County Firemen’s’ Parade in the fall.

Have a great weekend! Let’s Go Rangers!

Yours in Service,
