Our next regular Town Council meeting (in person and via Zoom – Hybrid Regular Meeting) is Wednesday, October 12, 2022, beginning at 7:00pm.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The Clerk’s office has prepared for your consideration and approval the minutes from September 26, 2022 – Regular Meeting.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

This is for those that wish to address the Town Council but do not plan to stay for the whole meeting. There is a note to the public on the agenda to please keep their comments to a maximum of 3 minutes and limited to one turn at the microphone. THE WEEK IN REVIEW

As of October 7, 2022, Morris Lake is 26 inches below the top of the spillway.

I look forward to seeing all of you at the annual Fall Festival event on Sunday, October 9th from 11am-4pm. Bring your family and friends and enjoy some great fall weather and fun.

Final touches are being made to the new Employee Handbook. My thanks to everyone who participated in the bi-annual review of the same.

Negotiations have commenced with CWA on their new collective bargaining agreement.

A friendly reminder we are closed on Monday for the Columbus Day holiday.

Good luck to Kat Alcock who is taking her Clerk’s exam on Wednesday! You can do it!

Don’t forget to get your costumes ready for the annual Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31st! Also, the annual Flags of Honor event is coming up at Town Hall on Saturday, November 5th at 11:00am. Please consider making a contribution of $30 to Community Hope, a great partner organization that supports homeless veterans in New Jersey. Check out social media for more information on both events.

How about those Giants? I know, right? And hockey season…glorious hockey (LGR) season is upon us. And here comes the Judge (not you, Sloan) - #62!
