The Morris Lake Reservoir was 17 inches below the top of the spillway on 8.13.12.
We met with contractors onsite at the Fire Museum to determine the exact locations for the testing strips. Dan Finkle and others are in the process of removing/relocating various items so that work can commence as soon as possible..
Jim Holmes, Terri and I worked on setting up the new Council laptops for rollout at the next Council meeting. A friendly reminder that we will run paper and paperless at the August 27th meeting and then paperless at the September 12th meeting and going forward.
We met with the contractors this week who will be overseeing the solar project for DPW and WWTP. We anticipate the DPW project to commence first.
At the Planning Board, the Martorana application for site plan approval was started but will continue at the September meeting. The Merriam Gateway Redevelopment Plan Amendment was approved as presented.
I met with a vendor today to talk about the possibility of fiber optic connectivity for our municipal facilities. I will keep you posted as conditions warrant.
Committeeman Paul Brislin of Montague visited with us on Friday to tour various facilities and discuss shared services strategies. We look forward to working with our friends in Montague on mutually beneficial projects.
