[ARCHIVED] 16th ANNUAL TASTE OF NEWTON

The 16th Annual Taste of Newton with the theme of ‘All American Dream’ will take place on Monday, September 11, 2017 (Rain date Tuesday, September 12, 2017) from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Spring Street in Newton.  Each year the street comes alive for a festive evening to kick off the fall season.  Restaurants and culinary businesses have an opportunity to showcase their talents by supplying samples of their cuisine.  Live music by Reno will fill the street for your listening and dancing pleasure.

Tickets are available in advance for $45.00 each, $85.00 per couple, and $400.00 for a table of ten.   For details of the event and to purchase tickets please visit our website at www.greaternewtoncc.com.  Tickets are also available at the Chamber office (61 Spring Street, Newton Phone 973-300-0433).  Beverages (beer, wine, and mixed drinks) may be purchased throughout the evening of The Taste.

The continuing popularity of this affair increases community awareness of the many wonderful eating establishments in our local area.  The Greater Newton Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event.  Proceeds from the evening help to fund our scholarship programs, two of which are Culinary Scholarships for deserving students who wish to further their education in the food industry.
