Members

The Historic Preservation Advisory Commission has five regular and two alternate members that are each appointed to a four-year term by the Town Council.

A representative of the Governing Body is appointed annually to the Commission, and the Planning & Zoning Board Administrator serves as secretary.

Responsibilities

The Historic Preservation Advisory Commission is responsible for maintaining the historic integrity of the Newton Historic District.
