The Town of Newton in collaboration with Rutgers University Cooperative Extension Water Resource Program along with funding from New Jersey Future created a Rain Garden in Memory Park to assist with water control efforts. The Rain Garden was completed in October of 2017. Not only has this green infrastructure design been successful in keeping the area dry it is a beautiful addition to Memory Park.
